Scope of the Role includes:
Our customer service representatives are brand ambassadors to Paraco providing memorable, positive and engaging customer support. The customer service representative position is responsible for providing customer service assistance to current and prospective customers.?This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.
You will build genuine connections with Paraco customers listening, anticipating needs, offering solutions. As an integral member of the Paraco family, bring your positive work ethic to deliver a great customer experience engaging with customers, providing clear & concise information with an overall goal of ensuing effective resolution of product & service issues.
Essential responsibilities will include:
- Handling incoming calls in a pleasant and understanding manner focused on achieving customer satisfaction.
- Using your product knowledge and effective listening skills to address and to resolve customer issues.
- Handling customer complaints and unpleasant customers in a calm & professional manner ensuing customer requests and questions are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Ability to analyze call to offer proactive solutions based information with follow-up when necessary.
- Communicating clearly and professionally while documenting each call.
- A strong work ethic with a team-player mentality.
- Speaking effectively to residential and business customers and vendors.
- Working in a team-based environment engaging proactively with employees throughout the organization.
We?re looking for the following abilities and skills:
- High school diploma or general education (GED).
- At least one year of related customer service / customer interaction experience and/or training.
Service or Call Center Experience is strongly preferred. - Bilingual speaking proficiency: ?? Spanish/English (Strongly Preferred)
- Punctuality and dependability arriving on time evidencing a willingness to learn and grow.
- A strong work ethic with a team-player mentality.
- Ability to speak effectively with residential and business customers, colleagues and vendors.
- Reading, comprehending and explaining documents including instructional and procedural manuals.
- Adding and subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure and computing percentages.
- Basic desk-top systems: Microsoft Office, 10-key calculators and data entry skills.
- Limited travel for training purposes to corporate offices in Rye Brook, New York of up to 5-10% of the time.
- Flexibility in scheduling is strongly preferred. Shifts assigned may include weekends.
- Overtime including additional hours, holidays depending upon call volumes.
